Mopar oat coolant ms 12106-My 13 Dodge Grand Caravan manual says to use Mopar spec MS Nowhere in this product description does it lists the specifications for this coolant If you look very closely at the photo of the bottle, it does say MS, but it would surely be more helpful if it was described that way in the text We recommend using MOPAR® Antifreeze/Coolant 10 Year/150,000 Mile Formula OAT (Organic Additive Technology) that meets the requirements of Chrysler Material Standard MS • Mix a minimum solution of 50% OAT engine coolant that meets the requirements of Chrysler Material Stan dard MS and distilled water

Mine says MS on the cap and that is what I flushed with at 150K PEAK does make that spec now however the Mopar was less expensive for my local diesel shop PEAK 50/50 Prediluted Antifreeze Coolant Directions for Me I was looking for a readily available coolant replacement that meets the spec's of the Dodge OAT coolant with the Chrysler Material Standard MS I went to Prestone's website and they actually make a coolant Prestone with CorGaurd either concentrate or 50/50 mixed that will work with our carsAntifreeze Reference Chart Chrysler pre01 Ford pre02 Asian Vehicles pre1990 European Vehicles pre1990 1Color is fluorescent yellow, color may appear to be greenish/yellow when looking down into a bottle or drum 2Nitrites are required for some diesel engines
Recently however, I discovered some products by Zerex and Peak that are starting to appear on the shelves at many chain auto part stores Zerex G30 is marketed as a European car OAT formulation and the product information sheet states that it meets the Fiat Chrysler spec MS, as shown on the Mopar Coolant labelFound this on Amazon but it was labeled MS Lots of warnings on line about mixing the wrong coolant and gumming up the system Was concerned if this was the correct stuff A little poking around on line found the Mopar Dealers Chemical Catalog Turns out the MS is the concentrated product, the MS is the 50/50 premixedFCA needs to do a better job of referencing this properly from the owner's manual My manual calls out Mopar 10 years or 150,000 miles OAT coolant which is correct but also references MS, which is not listed anywhere on this container or any other Mopar coolant container that I could find Instead, this container lists MS
